“I have been using Crème Complete for some time and have found the new refined formula to be as good, if not better than the original. It is a relief to have found a natural product, which is improving the condition of my skin and especially alleviating dryness. The service provided by Lesley is exceptional and I highly recommend both the product and her company.”

Hi Lesley
I would like you to post this review on your website.Creme Complete has been a revelation for me. I would like to thank you for all your help and support initially. Also, for such speedy delivery of the product.
I was diagnosed with LS fairly recently in Oct 2020, covering the genital area and both inner thighs. As is usual, I was advised by various medical professionals, both gynae and dermatology, to use Dermovate ointment but to no avail. I spotted Perrrins advertised on the internet and was so desperate I thought I'll give it a go. Boy am I glad I did.
What a remarkable difference it has made to my life! It hasn't cured my LS but has certainly made life more bearable. I am now able to get a good night's sleep and have days when I don't constantly think about LS. It's no quick fix and you need to use it regularly 2 or even 3 times a day for at least a month if not longer to see a difference. Yes, it is expensive but you will find a little goes a long way. I use the Creme Complete every morning and night and use a mixture of Hydromol ointment/cream after visiting the toilet. I have also had some acupuncture sessions to help with the stress of suffering from LS.
I really hope this cream works for you as it has done for me.

Read Ann's story. While many look to use Perrin's products as a natural alternative to steroid treatment and happily can use it 2-3 times daily, Ann chose to continue with her steroid cream yet still found there was a need for the creme complete in order to find relief and an element of healing.
Hi Lesley - here is my story and I give permission for my recommendation to be printed on your site.
I was diagnosed with vulva Lichen Sclerosis some 7 years ago. I use a steroid cream as prescribed by my GP for lifetime maintenance twice a week. I have done this for all the 7 years. During flares I use the steroid cream daily as prescribed. I have also used every day Diprobase as a moisturiser. Last year I had an area which was constantly inflamed and early this year my doctor referred me to dermatology . I was seen and was made an appointment for a biopsy of that area to have within 5 weeks. So it wasn't urgent but it needed doing. Due to the lockdown my appointment was cancelled. This was in March.
In August I got the appointment for my biopsy. My hospital notes said my biopsy was to be taken from my left side. I said I had been referred for my right side. I was examined and told there were LS changes both sides and because the instruction wasn't clear I could not have my biopsy done. I was told I would have another appointment with my consultant who had referred me for biopsy so the confusion could be rectified.
I was so upset and worried that now I may need two areas biopsied. In desperation I ordered a Perrin's Cream Complete from UK. Original Blend.
I had used this before when I was first diagnosed. I found it quite strong but it made the skin look much healthier and when I went for my 6 monthly check up at the doctors she said it looked much better. However I did not buy another pot of Perrin's once this ran out and I did not use it regularly at all during the time I had it, but I actually felt it stripped the bad skin away and decided to give it another go.
I used the cream three times a day for four days. It stung on application, as I knew it would from last time. But the sting only lasts about 5 to ten minutes initially and is fine between applications.
By the fourth evening of applying before getting into bed I felt very itchy - which I don't normally do. I actually felt so uncomfortable I decided I would not use the Perrin's until after my appointment which was in 5 days time. Next morning I showered and applied some steroid cream. I was worried I had overdone it with the Perrin's and felt almost mutilated. However, using the steroid cream once a day and then using the Diprobase after each loo visit soon had me feeling comfortable again by the end of the day, so I carried on with the steroid and Diprobase until my appointment.
I saw the consultant and was really worried I may have made things worse using the Perrin's. But to my delight he said there was only one small red area which he was not worried about at all and that at this moment in time I do not need a biopsy!
I know it was the Perrin's. It was not the steroid cream as I have used this as directed since being diagnosed.
So this is what I decided to do.
I apply Perrin's just once a day every other day or every third day. For the rest of that day after the loo I apply Diprobase as moisturiser. This is very important whatever you use.
One the days I don't use Perrin's I use my steroid cream once a day, twice a week, which is the advised maintenance dose. Plus the Diprobase several times a day, everyday.
For me, using the Perrin's in this way works really well. I only have the tiniest bit of sting sometimes on application. It lasts only seconds. Like I said, it is strong but it works. My skin looks normal and healthy like it has never done apart from the first time I tried Perrin's. That red mark is a tiny fading dot now and I feel very comfortable. I feel no discomfort at all using Perrin's in this way. It was too strong for me to use three times a day every day. For others it may not be as we are all different and we each have to find what suits us in application. I have always had sensitive skin overall.
I will be using Perrin's like this continually now. So basically what I am saying is that it is an excellent product. You need to be prepared for a bit of discomfort if you use it three times a day. I could not do that for more than 4 days, but using it as I now do it is fine and works so well. So maybe try it my way until you are more confident of what works best for you. I would highly recommend it for LS.
Thank you for supplying this product.

Perrin Blend and Perrin Complete are superb products . I had skin cancer removed from my nose twice by freezing and it returned yet again as Actinic Keratosis. I used the blend over night and Creme Complete during the day . After a few months I now have healthy skin where the cancer was for 12 years . I also used the blend with great success on eczema and skin tags . I would highly recommend.

“ I have had this ongoing problem for about 9 months with irritation and discomfort that was really disturbing my life and sleep. I tried absolutely every natural remedy I could think of to soothe such a sensitive area, experiencing very temporary relief. My GP was concerned that I had LS and this really promoted me to do some serious research as she could only offer steroids.
I was so relieved to realise how common this problem is in post menopausal women and that you had discovered Perrins. I have been using Creme Complete for a few weeks now and the initial tingling gives way to the most gentle soothing experience as if the tissues are really healing deeply. This is such an amazing product and so good to be feeling normal again! I cannot thank you enough for all your kindness and understanding. “

1st November 2017 - Creme Complete
I was speculatively diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus about 7 years ago. I was distressed by the diagnosis at the time, and although I was always uncomfortable, it was only intermittently seriously bad. I was given steroid creams which made it worse. One cream I used gave me an agonising blood-blister and I never used steroid creams again.
A few months back the symptoms started to get consistently bad - widespread cracking of the skin, appalling itching and tenderness, and worst of all, a horrible open sore which was so painful I couldn't wear underwear. Sitting down at all was incredibly difficult.
I love cycling, and I had to give that up completely as the friction was intolerable. At its worst, even the minimal friction caused by walking produced serious pain.
Feeling desperate, I started doing research online looking for anything that might help. I tried borax (both internal and external), which seemed to work at first but then the symptoms returned as strongly as before. I tried 100% pure aloe vera gel, which provided brief soothing sensations only and no improvement in the actual symptoms. I tried making my own ointment with castor oil, tea-tree, lemongrass and lavender. Like the aloe vera this provided very brief soothing but no real relief of the pain. The only thing I tried which produced any lasting improvement was topical application of Apple Cider Vinegar. I was starting down the ACV route more seriously when I discovered Perrins.
While scouring the forums for anything else to try, I heard the name Perrins and saw that someone had got near-complete relief from using Perrin's products. On the Perrins' website my hopes rose seeing the positive reports - and also the commendable honesty of the product descriptions by Perrins themselves, which refused all sensationalism and didn't promise instant solutions for everyone. They simply pointed calmly to extensive anecdotal reports of huge improvements for lichen sclerosus sufferers. This immediately made me trust the brand.
After reading the product descriptions, I decided to try the Perrins Complete Cream.
Then I saw the price! I baulked, as did my other half, who asked how it could possibly be justified. I said to him: "If it works, it's a tiny price to pay!" He knew my suffering and agreed straight away that we should try it.
By the time the product arrived I was beside myself with discomfort. The first time I put it on it did sting a lot, but not in a bad way - it felt healing straight away. After the first three applications, I knew it was working, though I didn't dare to believe it.
Less than a month later, I hardly think about my lichen sclerosus at all. I put the product on three times a day, with a heavy application at night. The cracking and the horrible sore have completely disappeared. The itching has gone. The improvement to my life is hard to overstate.
I have read so many testimonials of other people's success and feared that I would never be in a position to write one myself. Here I am writing one. And it's thanks to Perrins.
Yes it is expensive - but if you have even a fraction of the appalling discomfort, pain and diminished quality of life I was going through, IT IS WORTH IT.
Perrins, I can't thank you enough.

Blist-eeze is no ordinary lip salve - I have suffered with cold-sores for many years and although there are products which ease the discomfort a little no other product seems to be able to stop the sores emerging in the first place. It is expensive by comparison with ordinary salves but you use it only when you can feel a tingle in the lips indicating possible soreness developing. In most cases use of the cream very sparingly several times a day for a couple of days stops the development of the cold-sore altogether. In the rare cases that the sore does erupt continued use means that it dries up and disappears fairly quickly. Until now I have relied on importing from USA but as I live in Portugal there have often been customs delays and high charges. I might add that I also take a large dose of Lisene daily and this too seems to have reduced the frequency of trouble with lip sores.

Some time ago, maybe three years or so, I bought some Perrins blend because I recognised the thing on my husband's head was a basal cell carcinoma. He had had them before and they had been removed by his skin consultant. This consultant had now retired. My husband was unable and reluctant to travel the 40 miles to the hospital to see another and so I came upon the Perrins site and read Mr & Mrs Perrins story. I thought I would try this cream. I asked my son to photograph the "sore" and he recognised it immediately as Basal cell carcinoma. Twice a day for a year I wiped the thing over with grape seed oil mixed with orange and Frankinsense oils and then applied Perrins cream over the site and covered it with a dressing.
The cream was thick and sticky and sometimes oozed out. Over the following weeks the skin cancer worsened and was shedding debris, sometimes this was quite considerable. I worried that maybe I was doing the wrong thing but hope forced me to continue. As the thing debrided the cavity grew deeper. Eventually no further exudate appeared, the inside was pink and clean, new tissue appeared and the hole closed over and all that is there now is a faint, pale round area free from any disease.
I have no doubt that Perrins cream cured this basal cell carcinoma.

Hello, I would like to tell any ladies suffering with this horrible menopausal dryness/lichen sclerosis ,
I haven't been diagnosed by my GP, you know how we all get, check symptoms with DR Google!!
However I do have an underactive thyroid, and Alopecia, which I've had for over 30yrs, so now I've reached that wonderful age 55yrs, and wham I've tried ever alternative treatment other than HRT, I must admit I do use YES every other night , and I also take Omega 7 Sea Buckthorn supplements, however the biggest and best was when I started using your Perrins creme complete. I only used it for about 3 days twice , sometimes 3 times a day and I'm nearly back to normal. I've just ordered a tub of the silk lubricant as well.

Thought I would just give you an update. I have been using the Perrins cream twice a day still and sometimes only once. I had to go to my doctor for a check up and she said the there was no sign of the LS. I told her that I was still using the cream and it seemed to be the only thing that kept it in check. I only wish there was some way I knew how many other patients she was treating, I wouldn't mind ladies talking to me about it and suggesting they try the cream.

I first came across Perrins cream when I was researching LS on the Internet. As a sufferer for many years I was looking for some alternative cream other than the steroid cream which is normally prescribed by the doctor. After reading the reviews on this cream I thought why not give it a go I had nothing to lose. I ordered the nutra creme and the creme complete. I used the nutra creme for a few days but it didn't really feel like it was making much difference. I started using the creme complete morning and night. You should be aware this is by no means a quick fix and you need to bear with it for at least a month and be vigilant on applying morning and night. Some reviewers say this cream burns but I think it makes the area feel extremely cold and you soon get used to it and the feeling doesn't last long. I started using at beginning of March and it is now end of May. I now do not have any symptoms of LS, no sore areas, have been to see my doctor and given her all the information on Perrins. I am fortunate to have a doctor who listens and is happy to recommend or inform other patients of what other things are available. Other hints I also picked up whilst researching was no soap or shower gels. Only wash with water and do not let any soap "land in that area ". If you wear Panty liners make sure it is cotton and not perfumed in any way. Carefree do a cotton pad and also Waitrose do their own brand. I will carry on using Perrins and I would recommend that you give it a try, so worth it!

I discovered Silk Comfort after using other Perrins products for suspected lichen sclerosis (which cleared up beautifully).I love the holistic ethos behind their creams. I am post menopausal and needed some help with lubrication during sex. I tried the water-based Yes, but was not impressed. Although the oil-based version has a better feel, I wasn't keen on putting anything unnatural in my body.
I love Silk Comfort - and I'm not embarrassed to say that my husband does too. I am very pleased to have discovered it. It feels good to know that it has healing properties at the same time.

I just wanted to say Thank You for the Creme Complete. I have lichen sclerosis and asked my gynae about your creme, and she fluffed it off and changed the subject, but I bought it anyway. Within a few days I started noticing an improvement in my symptoms, and the damaged skin has almost disappeared. Is my doc going to get a surprise when she next takes a look! Many thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you. Doctor diagnosed lichens sclerosis last September and prescribed steroid cream. Used it for a month and it got worse. Tried Perrins Creme Complete as recommended by my acupuncturist as another client of hers had used it. Totally brilliant! Now cleared up completely.

I was recommended Perrins Creme Complete by a friend who has lichen sclerosus. My GP wasn’t sure I had lichen sclerosus as I didn’t have any white patches, but I had tears and it was very painful. I had tried a couple of other types of creams, which hadn’t worked and wasn’t keen on the option from the GP, as it contained steroids and I’d always want to use something natural if at all possible before going down the steroid route. The Perrins Creme Complete arrived very promptly. I was amazed as in 3 days the tears in my skin had healed. 3 days! I was ecstatic as I’d had symptoms for quite a while and it was driving me mad. I’m so pleased I’ve found something that works and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Creme Complete.

'I have used the Creme Complete for several years. I feel it works really well. The cream has really helped to heal some of my solar keratoses and it has helped to extend the periods between which I need cryotherapy for a few more persistent ones. It has also helped the healing process post cryotherapy.'

Having been told by my consultant that lichen schelorosus doesn't actually get better, at my last session with her, it had disappeared! I said I had used Perrins Crème Complete, which she had never heard of, so hopefully she has passed on the news. It is the only emollient that doesn't irritate, so I will continue to use it.

My big sister told me about Perrins, after a friend of hers cured her skin cancer on her face completely in about 5-6 months.
I am in the process of completely removing serious actinic keratosis on my forehead, it works.
Perrins is a serious healer.

Dear Lesley, just wanted to give you an update- (see 29th Nov 2014 below) - on the `perrins effect...I went to see my doctor today after two months, and he could not find the lesion anymore. I am so delighted, I only used it until mid December, when it was no longer possible to locate it by feel, I kept putting the plaster in the wrong place. I told my doctor about my self treatment and he said you don't know if it would have disappeared on its own. That made me a bit sad, that he didn't want to hear of a remedy for anyone else who might come in with a similar condition. I guess I should have expected that, and I appreciate his diagnosis and continued interest. Thank God for the NHS, and thank God for the internet and Perrins, and YOU. you may unhesitatingly add my comments to your testimonials.

Hi Lesley. My doctor diagnosed a mark on my back near the neckline as a solar keratosis. I have been using the Perrins Blend for a month on Monday. Saw my doctor again on Tuesday who reported that it was looking less inflamed and was flat, still red and maybe a tiny bit smaller - he said come back in two months. Can't complain about that.
