Aluminium is a metallic element used extensively in the manufacture of aircraft components, prosthetic devices and as an ingredient in antiperspirants, antacids and antiseptics. If your antiperspirant contains aluminium, there is a possibility it could be harming you. Antiperspirants do more than prevent perspiration: they also block the ability of the skin to flush out toxins, which can then seep down to the breasts. Excessive levels of aluminium have shown on some women with breast cancer. Aluminium has also been linked to Alzheimer’s disease.
